Faridabad, October 1, 2025: Escorts Kubota Limited, a leading player in the agri machinery and construction equipment sector, reported record tractor sales in September 2025, achieving its highest-ever monthly sales volume. This strong performance positions the company as a major driver of the farm equipment sales in India 2025, and reflects the resilience of the broader agri machinery market in India.
According to the Escorts Kubota sales report for FY26, the company sold 18,267 tractors in September 2025, marking a remarkable 47.6% growth compared to 12,380 units sold in September 2024. This significant surge showcases strong Escorts Kubota tractor sales growth, led by increased rural demand and favourable market conditions.
Domestic tractor sales stood at 17,803 units, reflecting a 48.5% increase over 11,985 units sold in the same month last year. The consistent momentum in the domestic and export tractor sales in India was supported by above-normal monsoon, improved water reservoir levels, and the festive season impact on tractor demand. Additionally, the government policy on farm machinery GST, which includes recent tax cuts, has helped lift sentiment in rural markets.
On the international front, Escorts Kubota tractor export sales reached 464 units in September 2025, up from 395 units in September 2024—an increase of 17.5%. This growth reflects the company’s consistent efforts to expand its presence across global markets.
In the second quarter of FY26 (July–September 2025), Escorts Kubota monthly sales continued to show strength. Total tractor sales during the quarter were 33,877 units, a 30.3% increase over 25,995 units sold in Q2 FY25.
Domestic sales in Q2 reached 32,329 units, compared to 24,768 units last year, reflecting a 30.5% increase. Export sales for the quarter were 1,548 units, up 26.2% from 1,227 units in the same period last year.
For the first half of FY26 (April–September 2025), Escorts Kubota tractor sales totalled 64,458 units, compared to 56,365 units in FY25 H1, showing a 14.4% year-on-year growth. Domestic sales contributed 61,177 units, while exports accounted for 3,281 units — a significant 50.0% growth in exports year-on-year.
This performance strengthens Escorts Kubota’s position in the FY26 H1 tractor industry performance, contributing positively to overall tractor industry trends 2025.
In the construction equipment market in September 2025, Escorts Kubota construction equipment sales reached 413 machines, compared to 510 machines in September 2024, reflecting a 19.0% decline.
The construction equipment business faced challenges due to monsoon disruptions, project delays, and rising operational costs—mirroring a broader construction sector slowdown in 2025. However, with festive demand building and the government’s continued infrastructure push, the company anticipates a stronger performance in the latter half of FY26.
For Q2 FY26, total CE sales stood at 1,146 units, compared to 1,394 units in Q2 FY25. For the April–September period, sales were 2,201 units, down from 2,776 units in FY25.
With the combination of rural demand, favourable monsoon, and policy support, the tractor industry outlook 2025 remains optimistic. Rural demand and monsoon impact on tractor sales are expected to continue supporting growth in the upcoming quarters. Escorts Kubota’s strong performance in both domestic and export segments reinforces its leadership in India’s agri machinery market.
