Mahindra & Mahindra Reports 34% Growth in Tractor Sales for February 2026

Mumbai, March 01, 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra announced its tractor sales performance for February 2026, recording strong growth across both domestic and export markets.

Mahindra Tractors reported total tractor sales of 34,133 units in February 2026, marking a 34% increase compared to 25,527 units sold in February 2025.

February 2026 Sales Performance

Domestic Sales:

  • 32,153 units in February 2026
  • 23,880 units in February 2025
  • 35% year-on-year growth

Export Sales:

  • 1,980 units in February 2026
  • 1,647 units in February 2025
  • 20% year-on-year growth

Total Sales:

  • 34,133 units in February 2026
  • 25,527 units in February 2025
  • 34% overall growth

The domestic market continued to contribute the largest share to monthly tractor volumes, while exports also supported overall performance with steady growth.

Year-to-Date (April 2025 – February 2026) Performance

For the financial year-to-date period, Mahindra reported strong cumulative growth across segments.

Domestic Sales (YTD FY26):

  • 4,62,527 units
  • 3,74,512 units in the same period last year
  • 24% growth

Export Sales (YTD FY26):

  • 18,841 units
  • 15,195 units last year
  • 24% growth

Total Sales (YTD FY26):

  • 4,81,368 units
  • 3,89,707 units last year
  • 24% overall growth

Management Statements

Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “We have sold 32,153 tractors in the domestic market during February 2026 registering a robust growth of 35% over last year. Robust growth in the rabi sowing area, healthy reservoir levels, favourable kharif harvest is strengthening cash flows in rural markets. These positive sentiments along with Navratri in this month, will help boost tractor demand. In the exports market, we have sold 1,980 tractors, a growth of 20% over last year.”

In the export market, the company sold 1,980 tractors, reflecting a 20% growth compared to the previous year.
