Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Business delivered a robust performance in December 2025, supported by improving rural demand and favourable agricultural conditions.
Domestic tractor sales stood at 30,210 units, registering a strong 37% year-on-year growth, reflecting healthy farmer purchasing activity.
Total tractor sales (including exports) reached 31,859 units, marking a 39% annual growth compared to December 2024.
Exports increased sharply to 1,649 units, posting an impressive 78% year-on-year growth, driven by improved demand in overseas markets.
According to Veejay Nakra, improved cash flow availability, better crop yields after the Kharif harvest, and conducive weather conditions played a key role in supporting sales.
He further highlighted that healthy reservoir levels have boosted Rabi sowing acreage, which is expected to sustain tractor demand in the coming months.
With strong domestic momentum and rising exports, Mahindra continues to strengthen its leadership position in India’s tractor market as it moves into 2026.
