Mumbai, February 01, 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), part of the Mahindra Group, announced an impressive tractor sales performance for January 2026, showing strong momentum across both domestic and export markets.

Tractor sales performance for January 2026 is as follows-

January 2026 Sales Highlights

  • Mahindra sold a total of 40,643 tractors in January 2026
  • This marks a 47% year-on-year growth, compared to 27,557 units in January last year

Domestic Market Performance

  • Domestic sales stood at 38,484 tractors
  • Last year in January, domestic volumes were 26,305 units
  • This translates to a strong 46% growth in India, driven by healthy rural demand and farming activity

Export Performance

  • Mahindra exported 2,159 tractors in January 2026
  • Exports last year were 1,252 units
  • This reflects a massive 72% jump in exports, highlighting improving traction in global markets

Year-to-Date (April 2025 – January 2026) Tractor Sales

Mahindra also reported solid cumulative growth for the current financial year so far:

Total tractor sales: 447,235 units

  • Up from 364,180 units last year
  • Overall growth of 23%

Domestic YTD Sales

  • Domestic volumes reached 430,374 units
  • Compared to 350,632 units in the same period last year
  • Domestic sales grew by 23%, contributing the largest share to the overall performance

Export YTD Sales

  • Exports stood at 16,861 units
  • Up from 13,548 units last year
  • Registering a 24% increase, showing steady improvement overseas
