Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.'s Farm Equipment Business (FEB) has reported strong tractor sales growth in May 2026. The company recorded impressive performance in both domestic and export markets, supported by favourable agricultural conditions, timely completion of Rabi harvesting, and positive farmer sentiment.
During May 2026, Mahindra sold 47,845 tractors in the domestic market compared to 38,914 units in May 2025, registering a 23% year-on-year growth.
The company's total tractor sales, including exports, stood at 49,695 units during May 2026, compared to 40,643 units in the same month last year, reflecting a 22% growth.
Commenting on the sales performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said that the company sold 47,845 tractors in the domestic market during May 2026, registering a growth of 23% compared to the previous year.
He stated that the strong performance was driven by the timely completion of Rabi harvesting and favourable terms of trade for farmers. He also highlighted that Mahindra exported 1,850 tractors during the month, achieving 7% growth in export markets.
Mahindra Tractors delivered a robust performance in May 2026, driven by strong domestic demand and steady export growth. The company registered 23% growth in domestic tractor sales and 22% growth in total tractor sales, reinforcing its leadership in the Indian tractor market. With positive agricultural conditions and healthy farmer sentiment, Mahindra is expected to maintain its growth momentum in the coming months.
