The farm equipment business, which is a member of Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, has displayed the report for September 2025. This company has claimed that they have sold 64,946 units of tractors in the domestic market. Last year, the company sold 43,201 units in September, which has grown by 50 percent.
This is due to the relentless preparation of the company. There are some reasons for these marvellous achievements, some of them are the reduction of GST, Navratri and other festive periods, the positive advertisement and better monsoon season.
66,111 units were sold in September 2025, and at the same time last year, approximately 44,256 tractors were sold, which is in comparison 49 % extra.
Domestic sales were 64,946 units, which is 43,201 units last year, which means 50% extra.
Export sales were around 1,165 units, which is 1,055 units and is 10% more than last year.
During FY 2026 (April to September 2025), Mahindra sold a total of 2,57,025 tractors, registering a 20% increase compared to 2,14,849 units sold during the same period last year.
Out of these, 2,47,336 tractors were sold in the domestic market, which is 20% higher than the 2,06,236 units sold last year.
Export sales stood at 9,689 units, compared to 8,613 units in the previous year, reflecting a 12% growth.
With this performance, Mahindra has demonstrated a strong presence in both domestic and international markets during the first half of FY 2026.
“In September, we achieved SUV sales of 56,233 units, a growth of 10%, and total vehicle sales of 100,298 units, a 16% growth compared to the same month last year. Thanks to the impetus from GST 2.0 and the preceding weeks’ pent-up demand, we have seen robust growth in dealer reported customer retails during the first nine days of Navratri, with over 60% growth in the SUV segment and over 70% growth in the CV segment compared to the first nine days of Navratri last year. The surge in festive demand has placed significant constraints on availability of trailers. We are working to improve dispatches to our dealer network within the constraints.”
