Mahindra has launched the first CNG mono fuel tractor in Agricultural Summit, Agrovision , Nagpur
India's eminent tractor brand, Mahindra Tractors has launched its first CNG mono fuel tractor on its popular Yuva Tractor Platform in Central India's largest agricultural summit, Agrovision, Nagpur. The unveiling concluded in the presence of Union Transport and Highways Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari on the inauguration day of the four -day summit.

The new Mahindra CNG tractor developed and tested in Mahindra Research Valley Chennai is equipped with equivalent power and performance of tractors operating from Diesel.
CNG tractor is quite favourable for the environment
Environment friendly, CNG tractor reduces emissions by about 70% percent in the diesel tractors. Low engine vibrations decline in noise levels, which is 3.5DB lower than diesel tractors. This increase not only provides extended working hours and engine life. At the same time, advanced operators for both agriculture and non -agricultural applications also determine comfort.
How much savings provide compared to diesel tractors
A tractor with CNG technology matches a lot of agriculture and transportation applications efficiently, with the capabilities of current diesel tractors. Mahindra's CNG tractor has four tanks with 45 litres of water capacity. Also, gas can be filled up to 24 kg at 200-BAR pressure. This CNG tractor provides an estimated savings of Rs 100 per hour in the diesel tractors. Mahindra has prepared a plan to unveil the CNG tractor in the market after intensive evaluation of this leading technology.
There are currently 1.2 million CNG -based vehicles worldwide
According to the report, 1.2 crore vehicles are being operated from CNG all over the world at this time. Explain that various companies and municipal corporations are shambled in their fleet every day. The CNG engine has 70% less emissions than diesel engineers. The current price of diesel is Rs 77.43 per litre. At the same time, the current price of CNG is up to Rs 42 per kg.
