First consignment of cashew from Odisha exported to Bangladesh in collaboration with APEDA

APEDA has played an important role in exporting cashew from Odisha. The first consignment of cashews sent from Odisha to Bangladesh consists of premium quality cashews, amounting to 2 metric tonnes. It has been exported by West Bengal based exporter Paff Global Private Limited. It is believed that this important step will not only strengthen the economic relations between the two countries but will also prove helpful in opening new avenues for the agriculture sector in Odisha.

Preparation to send cashew nuts to other countries also.


Expressing his excitement about this remarkable achievement, Subrata Ghosh, Managing Director, Paaf Global Private Limited, said, “This successful shipment not only represents a significant milestone for the cashew industry in Odisha, but it also shows the potential for development and cooperation in the agricultural sector between India and Bangladesh. Also said that now a plan is being prepared to send cashew consignment from Odisha to some other countries including Bahrain and Qatar.
