Faridabad, November 1, 2025: Escorts Kubota Limited (EKL) achieved a remarkable milestone in October 2025, recording its highest-ever monthly tractor sales while navigating a temporary slowdown in its construction equipment business. The company’s performance reflects the strength of India’s agricultural sector and steady progress in rural mechanisation.

Record-Breaking Tractor Sales in October 2025

Escorts Kubota’s Agri Machinery Division sold 18,798 tractors in October 2025, registering a 3.8% growth compared to 18,110 tractors in October 2024.

This marks the company’s best-ever monthly performance, reinforcing its leadership in India’s competitive tractor market.

Domestic Tractor Sales – Strong Festive Demand

In the domestic market, 18,423 tractors were sold in October 2025, compared to 17,839 units in October 2024, showing a 3.3% increase.

The growth was driven by:

  • Strong festive season demand and early purchases
  • Government support and farm subsidies
  • Reduced GST rates on tractor components
  • Favourable monsoon and healthy reservoir levels

Although some states faced crop losses due to extended rains, experts expect rabi season sales to remain stable and positive in the coming months.

Export Tractor Sales – Global Demand on the Rise

Escorts Kubota’s export performance remained strong, with 375 tractors exported in October 2025, up from 271 units in October 2024.

This represents a 38.4% year-on-year growth, highlighting the company’s growing global footprint and success in strengthening its international dealer network.

April–October 2025 (7 Months) Performance Overview

From April to October 2025 (FY26), Escorts Kubota achieved total tractor sales of 83,256 units, marking an 11.8% growth compared to 74,475 units during the same period last year.

Breakdown of sales performance:

  • Domestic Sales: 79,600 units (up 10.5% from 72,016 units in FY25)
  • Export Sales: 3,656 units (up 48.7% from 2,459 units in FY25)

This consistent growth shows Escorts Kubota’s strong market position, supported by technological innovation, efficient dealer operations, and farmer-focused products.

Construction Equipment Sales – Temporary Decline in October 2025

In the Construction Equipment Division, Escorts Kubota sold 452 machines in October 2025, compared to 635 units in October 2024 — a 28.8% decline.

According to the company, the slowdown was mainly due to:

  • An extended monsoon season, affecting construction activities
  • Delayed execution of infrastructure projects
  • Slow project mobilisation across several states

However, industry analysts remain optimistic, expecting a rebound as government-funded infrastructure projects — including highways, metro corridors, and housing schemes — accelerate in the coming months.

April–October 2025 (7M) Construction Equipment Performance

Between April and October 2025, Escorts Kubota sold 2,653 machines, compared to 3,411 units in the same period last year — showing a 22.2% decline.

Despite the short-term dip, the company remains focused on innovation, efficiency, and readiness to meet future infrastructure demands.
