Mumbai, September 1, 2026: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.’s Farm Equipment Business (FEB), part of the Mahindra Group, announced its tractor sales numbers for August 2026.
Total tractor sales, including domestic sales and exports, stood at 29,507 units in August 2026, compared with 28,117 units during the same period last year. Exports stood at 1,912 tractors during the month.
Commenting on the performance, Veejay Nakra, President – Farm Equipment Business, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, “We sold 27,595 tractors in the domestic market during August 2026, a growth of 5% over last year. Steady improvement in rainfall has helped near-normal Kharif sowing. Continued support of various government schemes and the upcoming festive season should bolster rural sentiment. In the Exports market, we have sold 1,912 tractors.”

Mahindra Tractor Sales: April-August 2026
Mahindra's tractor sales also remained strong during the first five months of FY27. Domestic sales reached 2,12,664 units, compared with 1,82,390 units during the same period of FY26, registering 17% growth.
Total tractor sales during April-August 2026 stood at 2,21,968 units, compared with 1,90,914 units in the corresponding period last year, marking 16% growth.
Exports during the period stood at 9,304 units, compared with 8,524 units in FY26, registering 9% growth.
Overall, Mahindra's Farm Equipment Business maintained positive sales momentum in August 2026, supported by improving rainfall, Kharif sowing activity, government schemes and expectations around the upcoming festive season.
