VST Domestic Sales Rise Sharply in December 2025 on Strong Tractor Demand

VST Tillers & Tractors has declared ts sales projections for December 2025 in the domestic market and shows excellent growth in sales of both the power tillers and the tractors. The recent figures reflect the better market conditions and constant demand by farmers in the main areas.

VST recorded a significant growth of monthly sales in the tractor segment, meaning that there is a higher purchasing interest than in the previous year.

Tractor Sales Snapshot – December 2025

• VST sold 584 tractors during December 2025 in India
• Tractor sales in December 2024 stood at 365 units nationwide
• This translated into a year-on-year growth of 60.00% overall, marking strong momentum

Power tillers also contributed significantly to the company’s overall growth, supported by the rising adoption of mechanized solutions in small and medium farming operations.

Power Tiller Sales Performance – December 2025

• Power tiller sales reached 3,792 units during December 2025
• Sales in December 2024 were 3,007 units, as reported earlier
• The segment recorded a growth of 26.11% year-on-year, indicating steady demand

Combined Domestic Sales Performance

• Total domestic sales of tractors and power tillers stood at 4,376 units sold
• In December 2024, combined sales were recorded at 3,372 units.
• Overall, domestic sales registered a 29.77% increase year-on-year

Looking at the cumulative performance, VST continued its growth trend in the year-to-date period ending December 2025.

VST Year-to-Date Sales Highlights (Up to December 2025)

In the year-to-date period, which ends in December 2025, the power tiller sales in VST were 37,374 units, whereas in the previous year, sales stood at 24,019 units, indicating a high overall increase rate of 55.60%. 

Sales have been 4,237 units in the tractor segment to December 2025 as compared to 3,997 units in December 2024, showing an increase of 6.00%. Power tillers and tractors had combined sales of 41,611 units in the YTD period as opposed to 28,016 units in the previous year, which translates to a total YTD growth of 48.53%.

The December 2025 sales have been high because domestic demand has been on the rise, as evidenced by the fact that farmers have been active and more people are adopting mechanized farming technologies.
